Dear Steemit friends,
sometimes we need a break to realize where the value is. It seems the Easter holidays were the catalyst to drive the prices of the cryptomarkets up again.
Maybe that is just correlation, not causation. But what are the benefits?

I think the Christmas holidays had a similar effect on the markets because people relaxed and were enthused by others to join. Today i was surprised by the market movements, maybe it means nothing for sustainability but maybe we see now a further uptrend, let's look:

We look at a steep mountain with alltime highs near $8 for STEEM and fell back to 2017 levels which lasted for a long time around $1.

The last 42 hours we saw much STEEM in the chamber.. and passed the $2 mark

While writing this post it looks already a bit different. Are we loose STEEM again?
If yes it's just a short term momentum from my point of view.. nothing to be concernced about because:

We are near a new level for smooth and fast registration of new Steemians. If this hits the stage we can see a much more natural growth of new accounts because today it's limited through hard work with much manual processing.

For me that is one of the most important developments because we shifting from desktop to mobile now for many years step by step. I remember using a Notebook on my daily trip to workplace since 2008. Since about 2 years even regional trains are equipped with power sockets in our region while smart phones evolved to little supercomputers. That's the future! Devices as a extension of our daily life in the most convenient way we can imagine. For true mass adoption it needs such apps like SteemitApp to conquer the mobile devices especially the smaller screens like smart phones or phablets which are in use by billions of regular people!
- busy.org already shows the power of sophisticated frontends for Steemit
busy.org show what convenience and additional features means for Steemians. The nice UI provides many additional functionality in comparison to steemit.com.
-DLive - Live Streams for tighter connection of the community!
This is one more great puzzle piece for the Steemit ecosystem beside DSound and DTube. For a customer it works already great. I cannot say how well it works for broadcasters currently but there are already a lot of streams available
The beauty for all the developments, they are interconnected with STEEM blockchain. Today i'd tested DMania which let's you post pictures or videos like memes to share with community. All these DApps can be used with your Steemit account and that is a wonderful thing!
2. General Cryptomarkets
Green lights 🚦 on! I think whether you are the coolest human being on earth or not it is nice to see green numbers on coinmarketcap.com.

Even if you are assured like me that cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are the future it creates a bit happiness to see prices climbing up. All the developments initiated by Dan Larimer (magenta boxes) are in the Top50. That is also a sign of trust and a track record which is unique in crypto space.
Regulators work through the piles of passed and new ICO's to reveal fraudulent behaviour which is good for us because we have now a Sheriff in town which can do good if he get's not mad about cryptocurrencies at all.
Crypto Traders look for the next bull run if the price goes beyond a certain barrier. And don't forget the weather! With the higher solar state people we'll see a more positive sentiment than in past cold and dark winter times!
