The biggest issue I find with Steemit is that it is not friendly to new users. The website as a whole is very confusing to interact with new people and find communities. How are new users supposed to find these external websites to perform functions on the website. Even if you want to put money into Steemit it is way too difficult. Steemit needs new users to be producing content and have trust in the platform. Without an user friendly and intuitive set up on its website it appears to less stable than I would like. There is also not enough emphasis on community. There is not a great need to reach out to others with bots, and it is actually rather difficult to reach out. The only way is to form discord (again a separate website) and raise awareness for it by contests, sending messages in a money transaction, or commenting. None of which are very reliable way to communicate.
Final thought is we need a website that is more user friendly and intuitive for new users to use. We need incentives for more minnow creators to produce quality content.
