Increasingly, politics are becoming something similar to a religion. The State is becoming “God” and the political parties, the religions. Below, is one of the prayers I’ve written to the state.
Grace (a mealtime prayer)
In the name of the Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branch. Our all powerful and all knowing blessed Holy Trinity and giver of permission slips. We, your humble and spineless servants, sit at this table to thank you for this FDA/USDA approved, I mean blessed food. In your Holy Name, we pray.
