Bitcoin and Litecoin provided medium for store of value (wealth), low cost and high speed transaction. Considering bank transfer takes 2-15 days and 0-15% transaction cost, BTC and LTC were the revolutionary.
Ripple (XRP) and Stellar (XLM) provided medium for low cost inter-party settlement that can be used for bank transfers and remittance.
Monero and DASH provided the medium for immediate anonymous transaction with low cost.
Ethereum provided medium for low cost coin creation through smart contract feature, called ERC20 token which spurred ICOs and DApps boom.
EOS and Steem provided the medium for building DApps where Steemit.com is the number one DApp that provides social media features to users.
Cryptocurrency has reached up to 100 millions of people where Facebook has reached 2B people.
