I have a deep philosophy that evil and good both exist independently and also can be a catalyst for the other, as evil finds a way to prophet from good acts and Good can arise from the ashes of evil like a phoenix... Although acts of nature are not evil nor good , but rather a venue from which they both dance.

I live in North Texas . All we received from Harvey was some much needed rain and some very nice cool mornings that are welcomed in late August. Although, as I enjoyed opening my windows in the morning, I was accompanied by twinges of guilt knowing my lovely morning was the effect of a terrible hurricane that has wiped out 30 to 40 thousand homes.
Even still, we as a community of Texans are gathering money, goods and service and doing whatever we can to help. Students are collecting, organizations are rising to the occasion and churches are praying around the clock. People are offering their property and extra rooms to house livestock and humans alike.
I realize also that other states are rallying around our devastation , and even other countries; so much so that it over shadows the looters and criminals who would use this hurricane as an opportunity to exact gain on the misfortune of others.
Give if you can. Pray if you believe. Love your neighbor in his most desperate hour of need because , but for the grace of God, go I.
A great way to give :
