I personally did profit from Steem increasing price but I sold my Steem too early ( I bought it at $ 0.24 and sold when it was at $0.72 ... )
( I could have kept my Steem but as the greedy fool I am I sold it way too early and bought another value that didn't even cligned an eye )
And because I under-estimated Steemit power Im now paying the consequences but anyway its still not over and I think Steem can reach a ONE BILLION Dollars capitalization at the end of the month if it keeps the same growth rate and a price of 12-13$ and it could probably go way farer than that as 
I want anyone who made money thanks to Steemit to show up and tell us what pushed them to invest in it !
