If I'm crazy and I go all in on Steem at above $4 USD how crazy will people think I am?
What if my gut is right and the charts are right? What if Steem does hit $12 USD over the next 30 days? Then People might say, "Hey, That Guy Was A Genius." Of course a real genuis would not have sold so much at $2.50 ish but I did recover most of my Initial investment.
Staying powered down has helped me make money every 7 days as the price has went up. This is not a fantastic long time strategy but worked out well for me to recover my investment and still have growth from when I started 7 months ago. Now that Steem is passing SBD and things are getting back to what I would consider normal, how many of you are thinking about buying at the low price around $4 USD?
Though I have ranted and raved sometimes about stupid crap like @Poloniex tying up my finds for a long time and Steemit not putting a notice when sending to exchanges they know have problems, I didn't give up on Steem or Steemit. I'm still frustrated that their Smart Media Tokens they talked about 6 months ago have all but dried up. No one is talking about them and the only website so far that has launched I guess as a test Pilot has been 404 every-time I try to visit. If could be blocking country specific IP addresses.
The Most Critical Thing That Drives Me Nuts Is Lack Of Communication.
Of course some would argue that if I jumped into the new world and wasted my days on slack or discord or telegram I would learn all kinds of things but while so many do that I'm off building a pretty sweet platform called https://SteemThat.com .
Had I spent more time doing nothing I would have more time to do something? That makes no sense at all. The Steemit Team Owns A Blogging Platform, Surely someone around there can blog? But at the same time I complain I understand that Steemit doesn't want to be like Charlie Lee at Litecoin and constantly badgered for manipulating the price of the currency by news updates. Steem and Team are kinda darned if they do and darned if they don't. Maybe it is better to keep people in the dark and then "BAM", launch some really cool stuff.
People often message me with complaints too.
The biggest complaint I get is information over load. I personally got tired of searching for hours trying to find stuff. When I found what I was looking for I started writing blog posts on SteemThat.com to help organize some relevant current beginners stuff. Hoping to be the super cool place to go when you are getting started with Steemit. We also allowed others to write articles to help share their new found cool Steemit stuffs.
People have complained about getting rewards from https://SteemThat.com. They think that getting 5 Free Steem That Tokens Just For Joining is too much! Why not reward people for using our social media portal? So we integrated a points type reward system and started rewarding members with an Equitable Proof Of Stake System.
After we launched Steem That Tokens 6 Months ago SMT was announced. We wanted to use SMT but can't wait forever as we want to keep developing and Raise More Capital for further development and integration with Steemit. Budget Proposals Were Promising But I'm Not One To Beg For Money. We can earn it and then our members will not feel obligated to any one person or group as we all built it together as a team. We built and launched the Steemish on the Ethereum Blockchain January 1st, 2018.
We Compliment Steemit, and help people earn more and want to invest more into the platform. We created a cool social environment with groups and chats and private messaging all in one. This has been virtually 99% self funded with very little support from anyone at Steemit other than our members. Who wants to help a bunch of minnows? I'm not complaining so please don't take it that way. I'm bragging actually. The more people I help grow the more I grow. It is a win win and we all love to win!
We have accomplished a rather impressive amount of things in such a short time. Many members are growing and doing better now than ever before. They have a place to call home and feel connected to real people. When people have an active community to learn and grow in they are more likely to stay and learn and become dolphins one day. They have a community support system that keeps them motivated to push forward and become successful on Steemit.
One thing we want to do is Invest 50% from all Steemish BlockChain Token Sale Back Into Steem!
So yeah, some people would call me crazy to buy Steem at $4 plus, however if we were to raise 3 Million USD from the sell of Steemish and invest 50% back into Steem so that our members can get awesome posts upvote rewards. We could start selling off the SP gained from our curation specialist accounts at the higher price we are creating in the market place as we spend 1.5 million USD buying Steem. Essentially paying for the first round of Steem Power We Just Purchased.
Not having to lease delegated Steem Power and give up the curation rewards would really be a game changer for the community. We could reinvest and get stronger. We could use the curation rewards to fund future developments and hire people to work on the project. We could hire a market maker for the Steemish. We could give back a portion of our earnings to members who perhaps do not write posts much but want to participate in the community. Some bridges we will have to vote on and cross when we get there but these are some solid ideas.
We are working on getting listed with a few different places and hope that we can continue to develop and integrate more with the steem blockchain. A hybrid build model makes sense for some applications and https://SteemThat.com is one of those that proves how accelerated one can build mixing old and new technologies.
