#Promo-Steem Killer Project and #Hardfork-20
On-boarding in the x10'000's at a time
Regular Readers of my Blog may recall that a few weeks ago I began talking about a Killer Project for on-boarding users to #Steemit.
I dubbed it a "Killer Project" as it would aim to on-board, not in the x10's, x100's or x1,000's but in the x10'000's at a time.
Over the last few weeks since I began talking about this Killer Project I have been working hard in the background gathering data as to whether it would be feasible to implement and I am pleased to say that I am extremely confident that it would be highly successful.
#Steem Velocity Hardfork - #Hardfork-20
In little over one month, #Hardfork-20 will be implemented and has been aptly named #Steem Velocity Hardfork.
It is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 25, at 11:00am EST.
According to the latest 
"The primary goal of the Velocity Hardfork is to change the account creation system in order to lower costs and improve the new user onboarding process.
As a Primary Goal, this is music to my ears and one that I am really looking forward to seeing rolled out.
On-boarding New Users has to be priority
It comes without question, that I am in full support of all the hard work and dedication of the developers that are working tirelessly in the background to develop the #Steemit Platform and the #Steem Blockchain.
However, I strongly believe that the experience of on-boarding of new users has to be priority.
In less than 6 weeks
In less than 6 weeks from today #Hardfork-20 will be activated and I am extremely interested to see just exactly what impact it will have on the the on-boarding process.
Hopefully it won't be long after Tuesday, September 25 that we will begin to see some data as to the impact it has had with on-boarding.
