I've been seeing this post over the last few days, and I just find this situation funny as heck.
is entirely within their rights to manage their time and resources as they wish.
is clearly of the opinion that rewards matter. At the same time, he can't wrap his head around the fact that SteemIt is entirely based on the reward system. That's the whole gimmick of the platform.
Capitalizing on public outrage has never been so easy to spot. $1300 in rewards for a shitpost? Come on.
Given that the 'other' gimmick of steemit as a social platform is decentralization... why the outrage over someone
doing what they consider best for themselves? You can't both have a completely laissez-faire market on free speech and monetary rewards associated with it and expect people to play by socialist rules.
In short: y'all being played into making money. Be like
, just find your small corner of steemit, write what you want, upvote yourself through another account or your own, even, and get free money.
And then maybe write a more elaborate piece of content too, every once in a while.
There's no reason not to, you might as well do that in-between upvoting your own stuff and spending the millions you'll make doing that.
Upvote if 0.999... = 1.
Toodles!
