It is not too hard to figure out that I believe STEEM is one of the leading cryptocurrencies out there, on one of the best blockchains we have.
STEEM is leading a charge that I feel will last the better part of the next decade. Over that time, we are going to see many changes throughout society driven, mostly, by technology. Many want to debate the merits of some of the predictions, yet when it comes to technology, it is fair obvious what is taking place.
Automation is only going to keep increasing. This is a fact that I believe most people accept. The piece that I think many miss is the pace at which these changes are occurring. There are many technological innovations which are taking place just below the surface. The problem with this is that few see the unrest coming. This leaves a certain segment, if not all, of society unprepared.
We are going to see many problems developing over the next decade. As I surf through the different technology sites, I see many of the challenges that lie ahead being discussed. What is interesting is that many of these topics are starting to make it to mainstream publications.
As I follow the debate, I find myself asking why is this even being discussed? Sometimes I feel like I the one with a secret that none of these other people have. I guess that is because I have the answer that they all overlook.
The answer to many of the problems is blockchain and crytocurrency.
I will come across an article about Facebook and the fake news. How do we combat this? How can we trust a company like this to not censor different viewpoints (you can't)?
The answer is STEEM.
Another story talks about Amazon and Starbucks wanting to kill cash (or what is left of it). This is going to affect the most vulnerable Americans the most. Of course, most of them do not have access to the banking system and end up being raped by the loansharks at the payday loan and buy here/pay here places. Obviously, in this battle we know the corporations will win (they always win). So what are we going to do?
The answer is STEEM
Still another article will talk about the massive job disruption caused by automation. Where are these people going to find jobs? They aren't. Perhaps we should retrain them? You can't, they lack the basic skills for tomorrow's workforce plus you don't have time.
Then they will propose the solution of universal basic income which sets off a debate. Elon Musk simply ends the discussion saying this is something we are going to have to do. He is one of the people creating stuff that is going to eliminate jobs, I think it best to listen to him.
So then we get another debate, how do we pay for it? Liberals, conservatives, libertarians, anarchists, all throwing their hats in the ring. Some want to expand a broken-down welfare system thinking that "this time the government will do better". Others want to tax the hell out of anyone with any money at all. Even the esteemed Bill Gates wants to tax robots.
Hey I can see their viewpoint. Considering the governments long track record of successfully taking care of things, I can see why they would want to turn there for the solution.
So if the government isn't the solution, what is?
The answer is STEEM.
We already see people on here earning incomes. To start, many in third world countries are earning a week's worth of income off a few posts. As the price of STEEM goes higher, I believe you will start to see more people in first world nations living off the proceeds from this blockchain. In fact, there are many in North America who were able to pay some bills they otherwise would not have been able to pay.
The answer is STEEM.
Now bear in mind, it is only a part of the solution. There will be many other cryptocurrencies that are also a part of the tokenized world. Nevertheless, at this point, STEEM is leading the charge to a new world. Tens of thousands of lives are already being positively affected and we are still in the early stages. People who are involved now are going to be able to help out others in ways they cannot even begin to imagine. The wealth that is being generated on here already is helping people to amass fortunes they never had before. For many, saving up a few thousand dollars was impossible. Yet when one has 500 SP, that person has a few thousand dollars in wealth.
Cryptocurrencies go to the heart of most problems society is facing. The central issue is we have a monetary system where only a few truly profit. The rest are subjected to work that helps feed a system which they do not enjoy the majority of the benefits. This creates an environment where money is scarce. Not only do individuals lack resources but so do projects which could benefit all of humanity.
STEEM and the other cryptocurrencies will change this. Here is a world where abundance is the norm. We already see that on this blockchain where different projects are funded with STEEM. Go one step further and look at the projects we are expecting to come on line shortly where the main resource is a cryptocurrency that was created. Imagine the innovation that will take place over the next 5 years when the only thing required to get a project launched is an idea. The funding is simply a process that one needs to undergo (assuming it is viable and people will buy ICO).
We are ushering in a new era and we already see that on this blockchain. What we are witnessing is the elimination of competition. The bankster world made us believe that everything is a competition. Businesses fight with each other for market share. Their goal is to win by getting the deals. I win, you lose..I am the better man. That is the old model.
On STEEM, nothing is competing with anything else. Is D.Tube in competition with Zappl? Is busy.org competing against chainbb? Is this article in competition with the one that was posted just ahead of it? Are the ideas on here limited so that we have to fight over them and claim "ownership"?
Of course not. People post what moves them which leads people to read that which interests them. Post something of quality and a percentage of the people will upvote you. Interact with them will only lead to more people doing the same. Try to do this alone or "win" over everyone else, and you will lose. Notice how those who are screaming the loudest on Steemit appear. While that might be the norm on sites like Facebook (or at the local bar), on here they stand out. Most Steemians are taking the next step up the chain in the maturation process of humanity. Some, though, are a bit slower to embrace this.
On STEEM, fear stands out like a zit on prom night. All the ways we try to mask it only serve to illuminate it further. The reason for this is that is scarcity mentality. It is bankster-programmed thinking. STEEM is about abundance. There is plenty of STEEM. If it does become scarce (because of demand) then the price will increase creating even more abundance. Unlike bankster currency which goes down in value, STEEM can go up. There also is no entity, i.e. Central Bank, pulling in the reins when it decides to. If STEEM wants to go to $10,000 because that is what the market deems, then so be it.
I challenge everyone to start looking at the world through the eyes of STEEM. Try it for yourself. You will be amazed at the problems you hear people discussing and it will come to you, "STEEM is the answer".
And what STEEM can't solve, bet the ranch some Steemian will create a cryptocurrency to solve it.
Full STEEM ahead.
