If you have followed my account the last days, you have seen that I was quite busy bettering both Steem and Steemits appearance on both the English and the German version of Wikipedia. And in my eyes these efforts have been quite successful!
1: After just having a redirect to a small article about Steemit, Steem now has it's own articles both in English and German:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steem
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steemit
A special thank you goes to and
, who improved the page with various corrections and additions. Also thanks to
and the other users adding small pieces, especially in the DApps section!
2: Especially the English Steemit article was really short and derogative before, therefore I have worked over those articles as well:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steemit
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steemit
Old version
I have also tried to improve articles of similar topics and establish the correct connections to Steem in them. Therefore I have edited the english article of Dan Larimer and created one in German: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Larimer
Thx to the efforts of , Steem now also is correctly listed in the "Proof of Stake Coins" section. I have also added a section for "Delegated Proof of Stake" in the German wiki: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof_of_Stake
Hopefully all those changes help that Steem finally has it's own article on Wikipedia - as it deserves to have. I am not primarly writing this to make promotion for Steem, I just think that one of the most active blockchains in the world should have an article on there!
Greets,
Martin
