In this tutorial you will find information how to buy and sell Steem and Steem Dollars using https://www.blocktrades.us
Now, I've chosen https://www.blocktrades.us (
) because they seem to be one of the most reliable exchange systems for Steem and SBD.
Poloniex has problems all the time, changelly and shapeshift froze their Steem support but
For this guide we're gonna assume that you want to sell your SBD and get Bitcoin in return - but you can of course use
1. Go to https://www.blocktrades.us
2. In the SEND field pick Steem Dollars. In the RECEIVE pick Bitcoin.
3. In the Your Receive Address paste your Bitcoin Wallet Address.
If you want, you can also enter here your exchange BTC deposit address - so your BTC will be send directly to your exchange account (like poloniex, coinbase etc.)

4.Click on the Get Deposit Address button.
You will be presented with this information:
Don't close the page just yet - we're gonna need the memo :)
5. Open new tab in your browser, go to https://www.steemit.com and enter your Wallet.
6. Send any amount of SBD to user and paste the memo from the https://www.blocktrades.us (point 4.)
Please note that you can send any amount of SBD - it doesn't have to be the exactly same amount that you typed in on the blocktrades website.

7. Click SUBMIT.
Now just sit and relax - the transaction will happen automatically and after 2-30 minutes the BTC should be transferred to your wallet / deposit address.
Keep in mind that currently there's a lot happening in Bitcoin world so transactions may take some time.
