Hi Steemians,
What's up
Recently I was checking my steem Blog and going through the comments, I have gone through a comment from one of my follower (the old one). It was him who seems pretty disappointed regarding his blog here on steem network. He explained how he is working so hard and making regular posts but still unable to attract followers and gain visibility he deserves.
So I need to discuss this topic in details that WHY?
First of all you need to identify the network it's an ecosystem and no one is bound to view upvote or share anything specifically.
Secondly it's not about finding the audience, It's all about finding the right audience and making your own place among them.
Now moving on to the topic that why did someone don't got visibility and the other person doing same gets attention.
The answer is simple, when you are dealing with human being not with the robots, the result varies depending upon many factors.
Even though posting time changes the amount of visibility you get. For example let's assume 2 account with same type of content quality and domain, same number of followers and same number of posting frequency, posts one post daily, the first on posts at 1:00 PM GMT and the other one posts at 10:00 PM GMT, Both of them will get the different amount of visibility. These are the small tips that a content creator really need to work on if he want to focus on number of view and followers.
Now the next point is the type of audience on steem network even though we are a large group of people now but we are still in beta mode and more people are joining the network day by day. So the type of content you are creating does matter. For example Kids cartoon on youtube earns a lot of money compared to other video type but here on steem we have other active domains like, Cryptocurrency, bitcoin, food, health and many other.
does it mean that you need to change your content type.
NO NO NO, this is not suggested at all, Do what you are good in and the network is still growing, don't worry about finding the audience. The audience will find you.
Not get disappointed and never give up.
TIPS:
If you content is unique try to find similar content and follow the author so that you can comment and engage with similar interest users, But don't be spammy.
Try adding Unique INTRO and OUTRO for your blog.
Focus on your posting frequency and be consistent. (Important)
At-least one of your post in a week should be a contest, quiz or anything that keep your followers engaged.
Use unique thumbnail but no related one.
Hope this might help some of the people here, and I will try to cover few tips with examples in the upcoming posts.
