I have reached 5,000+ comments on the Steem blockchain, so I guess I’m officially a Steem addict now!

Steem and Steemit still feels very fresh to me, but as a matter of fact, I’ve been on this site for well over a year now, and apparently written over 5,000 comments+posts on the blockchain! I don’t check my post count all that often, but when I saw my profile this morning I quickly saw that I had hit the magic 5,000 mark. I guess there’s nothing really special about it, but it really goes to show just how many people I have had the pleasure of talking and discussing with, and how easily I get totally sucked into the blockchain and spend my time here.

I have been joking about the fact that I’m addicted to writing posts and commenting on Steemit, but I would think that this post count milestone really shows that it’s not really a joke anymore. I'm officially a Steem addict. At least it's a lot better than being addicted to Facebook or any other social medias where you don't get paid, and also might get censored if the owners don't like what you have to say.

It has been a very nice journey so far, but we’re far from the end!

I have really been enjoying my time on Steem(it), and I can’t even begin to mention all the people I have had great conversations with. Steemt is really revolutionizing when it comes to social interactions, and I believe that the reputation system as well as potential monetary rewards often brings out the best in people. Sure, some people fight over rewards, but at the end of the day most of us are still friends with each other.

I’ very excited to see how many new people I will get to know in my next 5,000 posts, because as I said, this is only the beginning of my Steem adventure! So join me in staying active on the Steem blockchain, and together we can make this community even better.
