China has been building what is likely the largest hydro electric damn known to our planet. It seems that building something of this proportion, holding back this amount of water; that they're going to be changing the way that our planet rotates.
It would appear that they've been working hard to create the greatest work of our century. But is it really so great?
Will the change in earth's rotation have greater impacts than we know? Should we as humans be playing with this scale of mechanisms?
How will our planet react to this scratch on her back?
And why wouldn't they have implemented these other types of hydro turbines which do not interrupt the flow of the waterways?
Personally, I'm of the mind that we don't have any business doing this kind of thing on this planet. There are so many better ways of producing these energies. Which may not be of the same scale, and proportionately will not have as high a payout. But if we can harness green energy, without this type of a footprint; it's going to benefit our planet and species in far greater ways.
There's really no need to be as disruptive a parasite as we are. It doesn't seem like we are moving in the right direction as a species. But, that's my opinion.
