It's been true since the beginning of the platform...
Steemians get grumpy when the Steem price goes down and they want to "change" everything... "Tweek this and that", they suggest.
Also of note:
Steemians also get grumpy when the price goes up. All the sudden some are mad that others are earning more than some investors think they should.
A third interesting observation:
Steemians get grumpy when the price remains the same... it just goes sideways, and everyone gets restless and starts to try to figure out why and how to fix it.
I guess Steem makes people grumpy.
Here are some thoughts:
Payouts are increasing for those who are hanging around... The reward pool calculations are based on a 30 day average.
In addition, there are less people posting.
I bet many who left will be back... After they realize that nifty new token at "SteemClone" doesn't trade anywhere.
Also, this shows why we want to be attractive to people who have at least a few bucks to put in... Rather than those who want to immediately take money out.
