Alrighty, this will be the last update for Steem Apps in 2018. But I'd say: it's a pretty good one.
So, let's finish 2018 with a bang!
4 days ago, I've released the #2 update for Steem Apps and the feedback I've received was amazing!
While some of the wanted features we're already on my roadmap, there were a few things I haven't thought about.
Especially 's feedback was so good, that I decided to implement some of it already. Not everything, of course, the rest requires more development, design & planning time, but most of it has been added to Steem Apps with this update.
So, without further ado, let's get started.
New Features & Changes
- Filtering of app types is now available with a separate drop-down menu.
- Filtering of categories has been added with the new drop-down style.
- The type and category of an app are now displayed in an enhanced way, to save column space.
- The whole row of an app is now clickable and redirects to the detail page of the app.
- Tooltips have been added - for example, to explain what each column is representing
Many of these new changes required work on the style & logic of existing elements.

What's next?
Next, I'll work on showing general data about Steem (as in the total number of transactions, daily-average-users over Steem in general) and of course, to explain what Steem actually is.
If this is my last post in 2018
.. then I want to wish each one of you a very smooth ride into the new year.
Maybe I'll create another one in a spontaneous rush, but that's not guaranteed.
If you haven't read my Year's End Review for 2018, it's definitely worth a read. You might even be mentioned in my wall of gratitude.
For me, 2018 has been an amazing year. I would have never believed that I'd be able to create a website like Steem Apps by year's end, but as always, determination and diligence is everything.
May each one of you have an amazing start into 2019!
All the best,
Wolf
