If your like me, you've probably heard more than enough Christmas things for one year. Now, I'm normally alot more into the holiday season than I have been this year. But somethings got me feeling a little indifferent.
Ive got a short list of potential reasons:
-It could be the job I've taken as a charity telemarketer, which makes for a very challenging time to be working the phone lines.
-It could be the idea that it's the first of over thirty years I haven't recieved any gifts. Combined with a lack of plans to fly off to a beach paradise in the near future?
-Maybe it's got something to do with how the mall Santa brigade didn't call me back to dress in my red suit season.
-Maybe it's anticipation from the first purchase I've made with my steem dollars. A brand new laptop that's been waiting at my homey Klye's place! Which is essentially the only Christmas gift I've recieved. Unless you count the jar of pennies someone gave me for the gift exchange at work.
-Maybe it's stemming from the anticipation of a new job interview coming up in the near future. Something to replace the loathsome experience I gain at the call center.
-Maybe it's part of growing up? Or the fact that I've got to go into work on boxing day?
-I'm sure it's got something to do with the hospital showing interest in expanding their intern art projects to include my art flow with them in the near future.
Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. That I've got alot of good things to look forward to in the near future. So, I will continue to enjoy life throughout the year!
