This Hand Forged Bowie Knife is up for auction! Made from a Nicholson file/rasp. I forged it into the general shape, careful not to lose the patterns on the file. Finished it off on the grinder and have given it a proper heat treat. This 5 3/8" long blade sits into a thick piece of antler making it 11" overall. The blade has been pinned into the handle with a mosaic pin with a polished brass finger guard in between. Nice and sharp, it does not come with a sheath.
