The message Bible calls faith complete trust in God. It is what makes our lives worth living.
Romans 1:17 says the just shall live by faith.
Like everything about our Christian lives is by faith from salvation to our daily walk with God.
This faith, this complete walk with God is what makes it all worth it.
It is our faith that makes the difference to God. The blessings we receive, we receive by faith. It's like the currency we use for exchange.
Our faith, that total trust in God is what catches his attention. Not even the plenty prayer and fasting.
All the other stuff mean nothing if we don't trust God completely.
Sometimes it's hard for me to trust God for somethings. I feel like those things are not big enough, like why should I bother God with that one too. But he cares enough to respond to us. You have to believe that
Matthew 6: 33 says we shouldn't worry about anything. That because worry is the opposite of faith. We can't please God when we worry. It's like saying that God can't really do it. If you have unbelief in one area, it spreads into every area, defiling your whole heart.
Many doubting believers make a tragic mistake in a significant way: When they fail in a matter of faith, they they turn to the flesh. They do what they think must be done, but they proceed in their own wisdom and skill. Faith always resists acting in fear and waits for God to work. Faith is never willing to make something happen by going ahead of God.
