Hello Parishioners, Happy Sunday!.
Luke 16 verse 19 to 22 shows how your desire affects what you acquire:
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Lazarus, a righteous man for that matter ate continually from the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table, simply because that was the strong desire of his heart.
However, if this man had desired better treatment, he would have gotten It. Because, first of all he was a righteous man and secondly God responds to the desire of the righteous man.
Proverbs 23:18 says
But, surely this is an end and the expectation shall not be cut off.
King James Version
I strongly advise everyone to always approach God. He is not just a desire but, a definite and specific desire and you will see yourself living in the realm of unlimited supplies.
Proverbs 11:23 says
The desire of the righteous is only good, but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
King James Version
The supernatural is experienced every time God turns in your direction to act on your behalf.
Please note that as strong and as important as the force of desire is, unless you go after what you desire, it will remain a mere dream.
Proverbs 18 verse 1 says
Through desire a man having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.
It is your desire that determines what you are willing to pursue after in life. The pursuit of your desire is what makes possession of it a reality. A person who desires who desires to become an accountant or a medical doctor and refuses to do anything about it will end up in a state of fustration and disappointment.
The true test for your desire is pursuit. You can only acquire what you desire by pursuit.
May grace come up on you now as you stand up to and begin to take notable steps and actions concerning those beautiful dreams in your heart in Jesus name Amen.
Remember, procastination is a killer of destiny. Avoid it. Be focused and be determined and very soon, you will find your way to the top.
Have a fulfilling week!
