Good morning Brothers and Sisters, i will like you to open up your hearts and prayerfully receive today's Word.
And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the scriptures came to Ephesus
Acts 18 verse 24
King James Version
Whatever you are devoted to will direct your life.
Whatever directs your life, defines your destiny. Your destiny therefore is the result of what you consistently do and enjoy doing.
Check human history and you will discover that that is how destinies are defined.
Apollos was a Jew but not one of the Apostles. He loved the scriptures and was devoted to it. His devotion to God's Word led him to Ephesus where he met other disciples of Christ, see Acts 18 verse 24 to 28.
He shared his knowledge of the scriptures with them and this led to the growth of the Church. By the time Paul got to Ephesus, his work had been made easy.
In a simple message to the Church, they all received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Acts 19 vs 1-7.
What is your devotion?. Is it beneficial to mankind, or just for you alone?.
Whatever you know or have will only be valued when it benefits others. Your ability to express it will also define your direction in life.
Those who always have something to show/teach others see their knowledge and gifts as a platform of service.
You can be one of such people today.
God bless you.
