Hello steemians, today is another blissful and cold weekend .I will be writing on a topic that has to do with each and every one of us today, i will be writing on showing kindness to everyone without neglecting anyone .It is not new that the world has turned to something else , you see brothers and sisters doing bad to one another not to talk of strangers. The truth is that most of us do not read our bibles anymore if not we would have come across so many passages in the bible that preached about showing love and kindness to everyone including your enemies. The bible says in Luke 6:35
But love your enemies,be good to them, and give them what they need without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great in heaven, and you will be sons of the Most High, because our God is also kind to the wicked.
SOCIETY TODAY
The whole thing has turned upside down in the society today,the world at large is wicked if you listen to radio programs and you read the paper you will be surprised about what is happening in the world at large. You see brothers killing themselves over properties and even very little thing that does not count,and when you hear this kind of news most times you will know they are unbelievers ,because God urged us all to love one another and even our enemies then you see brothers fighting over material things, what will they do to their enemies if they act this way to themselves?? Everybody wants to make money, have properties and so on even after God said do not be carried away by what you see on earth today and this things on earth is not even close to what you will get in heaven ,so why not focus on getting to heaven which is eternal.
BIBLE SCRIPTURE OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN
We all know the story of the good samaritan in the bible,you can find this bible passage in Luke:10-25-37. IN this passage we were told that a man was travelling and then he was attacked by robbers, stripped naked and they took all that belongs to him and left him by the roadside . While he was lying there the bible said a priest passed by and you all know who a priest is,someone that claims he knows God and still he just passed by without rendering any help to the man and after that a Levite also passed by without doing anything and finally the bible recorded that a samaritan was passing by and he saw the man and had compassion on him. Remember that the jews despise the samaritans because they said they do not know God,but this samaritan took this injured man to an inn where he was treated and he paid all the bills ,The samaritan did not care of the injured was his enemy but he took care of him while the ones who even claimed to be holy passed by without even a word.
IN CONCLUSION
We should learn to love ourselves and even our enemies as the bible said/if your enemy is hungry give him what you have ,just do all this to fulfill all righteousness and pursue the heavenly reward. Be good to someone out there today.
