Blessings friends of steemit.
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
James 5:16 R.V-1960.
Sorry I was wrong .
It's my mistake!
I do not know.
They are words that some people find difficult to say. Just the other day, he was talking to a man who blamed his ex-girlfriend for having his son out of wedlock and for not forcing him to have a relationship with his son for the past 25 years.
She should have pressed me more, she said. I would have recognized and accepted my son as part of my life. But now it's been a long time. Also, he did not put my last name.
Is that an excuse to not have a relationship with him now? I asked him.
No matter where you go, it seems that there is always someone who is presented an excuse for their bad decisions, poor performance, incorrect behavior or for not recognizing a difference or weakness. It is difficult to maintain an unblemished presence. Sooner or later, we all make mistakes, we misjudge a situation or in some way or another we are wrong. It is inherent to the human being. Although it may seem strange, one of the best ways to learn is based on making mistakes. However, for fear of being seen more or losing prestige, we often try to hide our mistakes.
An error only becomes a real tragedy if nothing of it. Refusing to recognize an error closes the doors to growth. Look at what the Lord says when He warns the Israelites to learn from their mistakes; Thus saith Jehovah: He that falls, doth not rise? He who strays, does he not return to the road? Jer. 8: 44.RV-1960.
We humans make mistakes. We have blind spots. God is present to sustain us in all our weaknesses. We will have peace when we begin to confess our mistakes to one another. God bless you.
