Good day steemit... Most people always have this thought in their heart, if God actually created evil, because he is the creator of all things, and as the creator of all things, both in heaven and on earth, God must be responsible for creating evil.
But the truth is this, God did not create evil. Evil is not something you can create, evil is not physically touched or felt on your skin, you can't say you want a bowl of evil, or walk into a store and say you want a bottle of evil.
Evil can be seen as the absence of good. When God created the world, it was good and perfect and God made human in his own image and likeness. God gave humans and even Angels the gift of free will, meaning we are liabel to choose between good and evil. Between what's right and wrong. God never wanted us to be like robot , or computer that can't make their own decisions, he needed us to be free and do what we like and I think that's the greatest thing to have ever happen to man.
Evil can also be explained as thus, before God created the earth, it was filled with darkness, God did not create darkness, darkness is just the absence of light... When God takes away his light or his good, we are left with darkness or evil.
God did not create evil, but he allows evil, just to give human the ability to make a choice and there by making human make its own decisions. If God did not allow evil, both human and Angels would be serving him out of obligation and not choice, and God want us to make our choice in serving him or not to serve him.
As finite human, we can never understand God ( Roman 11: 33-34 ). Sometimes we think we understand God, but on the long run, we find out that we know nothing about the ways of God. God sees things from a holy and perfect view, we seen things from our sinful view... Most times we would want to ask, why did God even create Adam and eve, knowing fully well, that they are going to sin and cause a whole lot of trouble for mankind... Why did God not just make us stay in heaven with him and be obligated to serve him . But I guess his ways are never our ways and his thoughts are never our thoughts. There are some things about God, that our physical bodies won't allow us understand, because of our sinful nature, but regardless of all these facts, we need to trust God and his judgement and decisions, though it might be hard for us, but it's always the best for us as his children.
Have a beautiful day.
