Romans 7: 19- 20
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Growing up, we all wished to see the day when we will no longer be taking instructions from parents, teachers, elder siblings etc. We wanted to do what we desired to do with our own lives. There is nothing frustrating as not being able to do what you want to.
Whenever you see yourself doing what you don't want, it is likely to be as a result of an evil seed. Since it is a seed, it takes time to manifest and so you will never know when that seed was planted. Sometimes it takes months, years or even decades before the seed begins to show signs. Since it is a seed in you, any human effort to stop it is likely to fail.
You might have vowed never to fornicate, steal, watch pornography, get angry, lie, cheat, etc but you find yourself doing the same thing not long after your vowed, because It is no longer you that do it, but sin that dwelleth in you
(Rom 7:20).
This is why you need to watch whatever you do with your life or say to your children because you may be sowing an evil seed. If you call your son satan, he may grow to be like him one day. I pray every bondage of the devil over your life be broken in the Name of JESUS.
Every plant, which MY heavenly FATHER hath not planted, shall be rooted up (Matt 15:13).
