Many people imagine how the end time will be . when we read the book of Daniel 8:15-27, Daniel dreamt about the future. What he dream of was referred to as "the end time" or "the time of wrath". What Daniel was talking about was not just for the immediate future as happen to man kings (Medo-Persia and Greece kingdoms). But the future that Daniel was talking about was the one to come when all human kingdoms will come to an end for the Kingdom of God to reign.
When we read the verse 23-25, it was given a ear description of how the Antiochus in Eppihanes and what what he did to God's people. It also throws light on how the coming ruler will rule at the end of days his characters and how he will treat followers of our Lord Jesus Christ as he is strengthen by the devil.
Note that despite all these he will be destroy but not by human power, but our Lord Himself. The last days will be of rebellion and wilderness and time when the powers of the devil will strongly be at work. Parishioners we us a Christian body needs to resist all activities of the devil now and forever, we can do this not by out own power but by the power of the Lord.
Revelation 12:11
"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death"
Parishioners have you ever thought of what is happening to the world of late..? Mostly the Middle East and some part of Africa ..? Can we attribute these signs and say that the end has come or is here with us.?
