What does revival truly resemble?
II've examined revival history, the endless declarations of God moving in astonishing courses everywhere throughout the world. I'm eager for God to move now, however I need to ensure I know how to band together with Him!
REVIVAL Starts WITH YOUR Personality.
I trust revival must be delivered by crafted by the Holy Spirit in our lives. Revival starts within us, and works its direction outward. One of the ways revival starts to work is the point at which we experience the Holy Spirit is through the Expression of God. As we devour Sacred writing, we will hear His voice, helping us to remember our character.
Any individual who tunes in to the word yet does not do what it says resembles somebody who takes a gander at his face in a mirror and, in the wake of taking a gander at himself, leaves and quickly overlooks what he resembles. (James 1:23-24)
The motivation behind this verse isn't to influence you to feel remorseful for not satisfying some standard. God doesn't censure you for not really doing what you have found in the Word, or for not walking in wonders and extraordinary power. The purpose of this verse is to enable you to understand that you've missed a key piece of your character on the off chance that you've overlooked who you truly are in Christ.

I trust a foundational part of revival is that the Holy Spirit is arousing devotees to reality of their personality in Jesus. We tend to quantify "achievement" by the result—for instance, marvels and wonderfulness—yet revival starts in the day by day reverential existence of each adherent. Character develops inside us as we continue on—"steadiness produces character, and character produces expectation, and expectation does not baffle" (Rom. 5:4– 5). We should intentionally incline toward God. In the event that we don't shrivel back when difficulties arise, yet rather enable the Word to establish us profoundly in Him, we deliver much fruit (John 15:7– 8). In other words, on the off chance that we recall our identity in Christ and don't surrender, we win.

Just THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN Fulfill!
I know it's imperative for individuals from the congregation to have the capacity to look for assistance from each other, however the Holy Spirit is the special case who can convey you, support you, and guide you.
The Holy Spirit will fill you with reality plentifully, making His Pledge and His whispers wake up in your heart. Just He knows how to insist you in a way that fulfills that profound yearning. No one but He can talk expressions of life to you that really insist your identity: made in the picture and resemblance of God, intended to be the light of the world!

As a congregation gets ready for revival, it's imperative to have a period of self-examination.
In the content, Israel is a country needing revival. Both politically and religiously, the country was weak. It was in this setting of corruption and decrease that Samuel developed as God's man for the hour. . Those same necessities for revival provoke us today
I.Revival Requires Sincere Repentance (1 Samuel 7:2-4)
Notwithstanding the unfortunate results of their own sin, the general population perceived their should be restored to God.
However repentance is more than just feeling frustrated about our sins. As one author stated, "Repentance without amendment is likely persistently pumping without repairing the hole in the pipe." Sincere repentance includes abandoning sin and moving in the direction of God.
II. Revival Requires Sacrificial Commitment
We don't care to hear much about sacrifice nowadays. Maybe that is the reason we know so minimal about revival. Sacrifice readies our hearts to hear God and our lives to get His touch.
(1) They needed to surrender the false gods.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said that, instead of liberating ourselves from worshipful admiration, we've only exchanged our objects of worship. We never again revere wood and stone; today our gods have terminals and silicon chips, steel and glass, paper and ink.
(2) They presented their lives to God's power.
The world instructs you to push your way to the best and excel. Interestingly, the method for Christ is a method for submission. By submitting Himself to a cross, Christ enabled God to commend Him. Just as we offer ourselves to Him would god be able to lift up our lives.
The sacrifice of 1 Samuel 7:9 was one in which the whole sacrifice had a place with God; none went to the clerics. That is the submission that brings revival: a surrender to God of all aspects of our lives.
III. Revival Requires Significant Action
In spite of the fact that the general population were apprehensive, they were ready to confide in God and follow up based on that trust. God approaches us to move out in confidence and claim the triumph He has just guaranteed.
There are challenges confronting you today — maybe budgetary, or family, or vocation, or maybe your association with Christ. The decision is yours: do you truly need revival, and are you willing to pay the cost

Revival starts with us. It is every single one of us getting our lives straight and abandoning the abnormal ways. Consider important the requirement for individual revival. Consider important the requirement for petition. God is managing His Congregation.
