Psalms 112:1-3
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever.
Our Opening Scripture tells us that the man who fears the Lord is blessed. How do we recognize the man who fears God? The Word tells us that he delights greatly in the Word to keep it; and it Says wealth and riches are in his house. This means he will have a house of his own, no matter what the situations looks like now. You may be in a rented apartment now, but know for sure that because you are a doer of the Word, you sure will have your own house. Not only will you have your own house, it says wealth and riches will be in it. Glory to God! Furthermore, it says the seed of the righteous shall be mighty upon the earth but the seed of the ungodly shall be cut off from the earth.
The idea that if a man fears the Lord, he will be poor, is not correct; neither is it true. Abraham was a blessed and prosperous man. In Genesis 24:1 the Word tells us, ’And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.”
Abraham was blessed in all things. There was nothing that he lacked just because he was a doer of the Word. David feared the Lord and he was blessed. Solomon feared the Lord and the Lord blessed him. He didn't even ask for riches and honour; God gave him in addition to wisdom that he asked for.
James 1:22-25 tells us
But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone be a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself goes away and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”
Everyone who looks into the perfect law of liberty, the living Word, and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, shall be blessed in what he does. The doer of the Word is the one who walks in the blessing of wealth, riches, honour and life. To attract wealth, riches and honour from the Lord, you must be a doer of the Word. Be a doer of the Word.
