Text:Psalm 119:27
Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
Psalm 145:5-6
[5]On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works I will meditate.
[6]Men shall speak of the might of Your tremendous and terrible acts, and I will declare Your greatness.
People turn in many directions when suffering: finding solace in friends, finding distraction in entertainment, finding numbness in drugs or alcohol, finding escape in sleep or even suicide.
But the Psalmist shows us the right direction, that suffering is always a call back to God's Word.
Not only does God's Word illuminate the path we walk during suffering, it's also the only source of sense during the extreme disorientation suffering always brings.
In suffering let us mediate on the wonderful deeds from God's word .
Suffering Lead us to God's word
