Matthew 6:10 (KJV) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
A lot of believers shy away from praying this prayer, because they fear the will of God; some feel the will of God would be contrary to their laid down plans; others feel they would be told to go to the seminary. So to avoid these and similar fears, many simply ignore this part of an important prayer Jesus taught us. On the contrary, it is my favourite part of the Lord's prayer. To be in the will of God must be our greatest desire and wish everyday. To walk in the will of God as planned and programmed in heaven for you, is the greatest thing to have. The will of God means, it is how God wants things to be in your life; not how you want it to be. Is it not wiser to be in the will of the one who knows tomorrow, next week, next year and beyond? For example, if you want something and the will of God is otherwise, because He knows that thing will destroy your life, so you don't get; you may feel sad today, because you have no idea the harm ahead. If you are on a road, all you see is what is ahead within your view; however, someone having an aerial view like a drone, sees more than you do. So there may be danger ahead but you won't see it, but if you are told by a drone operator that turn from that road, you must see wisdom in that and even wish to have the drone operator always by your side.
May we love the will of God everyday. Have a blessed Wednesday.
Prayer: Dear God, let thy will be done in my life, as you have planned it in heaven.
