When it comes to affliction or distress, the bible describes the one we experience as light or easy to bear. Jesus has already carried our heavy burden and whatever we will experience is something that allows it for he knows we can go through.

This light affliction or troubles we are going through in seving the Lord is working out for us a much greater weight of glory;
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
We have troubles and pain as we serve Lord for a servant is not greater than his master. Whatever they did to Jesus will be done to us and there is no way we will share in his eternal if we don't want to share in his suffering.
These troubles are not really very important. They are not really important because God has prepared much, much better things for us.
He is keeping these great and good things for us. And when we think about these great things, our troubles now do not seem important.
Our focus should be on the glory not seen which are eternal.
