And the Apostles, when they were returned, told Him all they had done.

In commissioning the Twelve, Jesus told them four things they were expected to accomplish on the field of duty.
They were to:
~Exercise authority over all devils;
~Cure diseases
~Preach the kingdom of God and
~Heal the sick.
This was in line with the six point agenda of the Master in Luke 4:18 to 19.
The Apostles went as they were commissioned and came back with credible reports.
Do you know that you are an Apostle sent by God to the people. Your gifts and influence are to affect them positively. You are sent to do what God will do if He were physically present.
Jesus Christ sent the apostles to places he could not go at that time. By that He replicated Himself in them and accomplished His purpose.
God has sent you on an assignment.
Are you on duty or are you a runaway prophet like Jonah?.
Don't shy away from your call because, it is by faith that you will be paid. Besides, God is waiting for your report.
Don't forget that He sees all that you do.
So Jonah arose and went on to live according to the Word of God.
Jonah 3:3
