Man's plan and methods are inferior compared to God's. He said: 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,‘ . God has a better plan for your life waiting to be executed at His appointed time.
Your present predicament, pressure, ridicule, anxiety and desperation are not strong enough to undermine the purpose and plans of God for your life.
Thus, God's intention or plan supersedes the intentions and plans of man.
God may be slow in accomplishing His purpose in a man's life, for reasons best known to Him but He is sure.
Habakkukb 2:2-3
Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come
and will not delay.
Those who hurriedly opted for something similar as alternative not only have the execution of God's plans delayed or unduly interrupted, but also suffered terribly for it as a consequence.
For instance, Saul acted under the pressure put on him by the people.
He offered a burnt offering that was originally meant for Samuel to offer.
Thus, he interfered with God's divine order and plans for himself and the Israelites.
Consequently, He lost the throne to David and for the reason of frustration, he died untimely. Abraham and Sarah also attempted interfering with God's plan of raising a child of promise through them simply because there was a slight delay.
Sarah co-opted her husband into an alternative arrangement in order to give birth to a son.
Of course the consequence was fatal and generational.
The world is still suffering from this misadventure
When you ask God for something or you are following Him, you have to be extra-ordinarily patient.
God is faithful in all His doing, He never forgets anyone. He has made everything beautiful in its own time, so He cannot possibly adjust divine time table because of you.
If you feel like you are walking too fast, slow down and ask for God's direction.
God cannot be too late
Those who mocked you will come back to rejoice with you if you can wait.
Will you not wait on Him?
