A good day to you all, greetings to the and its parishioners. I came across a passage today and I feel like sharing it.
Luke 6:35 NIV
" But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked".
It is hard to comprehend what Jesus tells us in this passage. Logically it seems awkward to love the person who doesn't wish you well or who is against your progress. But the ways of God aren't always logical to man. This kind of love is the most genuine form of love, I mean how can you sacrifice your life for people who reject, hate and mock you? Jesus did this for humanity. That's why he tells us to do the same as his true followers. Jesus loves us unconditionally, we should do the same to our neighbors.
