Proverbs 16:7 KJV
"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him".

This passage gives us a glimpse of the benefits of living a Godly life. Though it may not entirely be our might to live a life that pleases God, it still falls into our hands to use the grace to live a righteous which God has given to us through the holy spirit. It all depends on our choice. A lifestyle that will please God is will oppose to the lifestyle of the world. But I must say, it is indeed wise to try as much possible to lead a righteous life.
