Dear Community!
I am one of the people who always occupy their time in reading a good book!
I like to read stories that inspire and transmit them to my family and friends!
Mr. Thomas Edison used to say:
"Our biggest weakness is to give up, the safest way to win is to try one more time."
As an inventor and entrepreneur, he marked a milestone in the history of the world, even his readers cheer him for his brilliant mind.
Yes, brilliant mind but, with a spirit of perseverance that when he set out to make an invention, he was willing to spend a thousand failed attempts, until he succeeded.
Wow! Imagine a community of steemians and Christians, persevering a thousand times until you take steem to the moon! How many things we would do in the world! How many poor people would be dressed and fed!
I have meditated in recent days on victories and conquests, and I began to analyze what makes some people successful and others not;
What makes some arrive where you want and others do not?
I observed the behavior of successful people and I could conclude that most of them had a common virtue: He is persevering!
Perseverance in truth is much more than a virtue, it is an attitude! In fact, it is much easier to desist from what persists. This makes us understand that in life there are no successful people and people who have failed; What exists are people who run in search of their dreams and people who give up on them.
One of the best biblical references about perseverance for me is in James 1: 2-4:
"My brethren, have for great joy to go through various trials, for you know that the proof of your faith produces PERSEVERANCE, and perseverance must have complete action, so that you may be mature and whole, without miss nothing.
This text is wonderful, and it shows us that perseverance is the attribute that leads us to maturity. Because to persevere is to believe, and faith strengthens us in adversity.
When the obstacles try to make us stop, and we persist in the walk crossing them, that encourages us to continue, and encourages us to continue; and when we persevere in what we want we will certainly achieve it and we will not lack anything. It is written like that.
Joshua received these instructions: "Be strong and courageous." (Joshua 1: 9)
Do not be discouraged, because the Lord, your God will be with you where you walk. "That is a kind of persistence, having strength, courage, perseverance, believing that God is with us and will lead us to our target." Fear paralyzes us, so the other instruction is not to fear, because fear is opposed to the faith.
Persistence is the way to success. And we are not those who recoil, but we are the ones who advance in search of the realization of our dreams. Therefore, create and advance, because only those who do not give up in a marathon manage to cross the finish line.
Success awaits you!
"Great deeds are achieved not only by force, but by perseverance."
In the book of history, there are still white pages, waiting for someone to mark an amazing fact. - Emilio Cabrera
