Dear Community of the SteemChurch, Merry Christmas!
It's Christmas! Although there are so many other interests in this period, mainly the commercial!
However, it does not stop being a holiday called "Christian", which refers us to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:14) Jesus came. The prophetic words of Isaiah were fulfilled: "A child is born to you, a son was given to you" (Is 9: 6). He was sent to us. He was born for us.
"Behold, I bring you a good news of great joy, which it will be for all the people who were born to you today in the city of David, the Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2: 10-11). )
This birth is cause for joy for all. Salvation is available to all. But some did not receive it, because they did not believe in the Savior.
"But to all who received him, he gave them power to become children of God" (John 1: 12).
Is not it interesting that even Jesus having come, is it necessary for Him to be received? The birth of him was for all, but not everyone took cognizance of this, and others who knew, did not decide to enjoy or receive this salvation.
My Christmas message to You is: That in the same way that the child God was born for us, that a Word is born in your heart that will free you from what may be happening. A revelation, an instruction or a remembrance of what God told him. A single Word inspired by God can change the course of history.
But, do not forget to receive this Word, to believe and act corresponding to it. Be like the Centurion that said:
The centurion answered and said: Lord, I am not worthy to enter under my roof; only give the word, and my servant will heal.
Matthew 8: 8
Christmas At The Clinic
Throughout this week of the most beautiful time of the year, my family and I have stayed at the clinic taking care of my Mother, however, we have discovered another important phase of Christmas: Understanding the occupation and commitment that doctors have, even when They would like to be at home enjoying a beautiful Christmas dinner with their family.
Also the nurses and all the guard staff that corresponds to work that holiday.
"It's admirable when people take an oath and keep that word literally." Many doctors make a big oath and that leads to all kinds of sacrifices to accomplish the hard work of saving life "
Jesus, the word made flesh, was also born and grew up with the eternal purpose of saving humanity, as said: "Jesus, the greatest fighter for freedom."
Today we gave thanks to God because we are in a place of good attention, thinking about the birth of Jesus, his parents did not run with the same fate, when the birth occurred, there was no place for them in the clinic!
A manger was the humblest place to receive the greatest man of all time. Today the manger is our heart.
