Talking about the expectation, has been something frequent in the news, in the last days!
Someone said:
Do not meet with an easy group; They will not make you grow. Go where the demand and expectations of performance are high.
The expectation refers to something we expect to happen, and this event will be for our benefit and for those around us, it is a condition of someone who has hope, of course, hope and expectation must be allied to a genuine faith, Only then will they disappear before any difficulty that may arise.
It is, then, faith the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen.
Hebrews 11: 1
The expectation is something interesting, because they keep us motivated, with that burning desire and we can have it in different areas: ministerial, professional, intellectual, emotional, social, in short, and for that, we have information or knowledge that will sustain it.
Who already made purchases in foreign places?
The merchandise takes a while to arrive and based on the purchase (information of the whole order) you create an expectation, right? We know it is a good product, the price was good and you find some argument that the purchase was worth it.
How can we learn from the simple things in life? I do not want to talk about shopping, the question is the expectation that we nurture in our hearts until the arrival and, that is natural and healthy.
There are periods of history, such as the one we go through, where the expectations of change recede into marshy areas. But the same story shows that there are ebbs and flows and that the expectation returns.

What does God expect from us?

The Expectation of Joseph of Arimathea
After the crucifixion, a wealthy Jewish leader named Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate if he could give him the body of Jesus to be buried. Surely, Joseph knew the great danger of asking permission from Rome to give a worthy burial to a malefactor convicted of treason. And, no doubt, he was also aware that his reputation and status in the religious community would be in danger.
What gave Joseph, a secret follower of Jesus, the courage to step forward, while the closest friends of the Lord stepped back out of fear?
It was because Joseph had been looking forward to the arrival of the kingdom of God
Joseph of Arimathea, a noble member of the council, who also awaited the kingdom of God, came and boldly entered Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
