Dear Community, peace be with you!
Something that makes us feel good and proud, is to be able to offer love, food, and protection to our family! You can have a corner somewhere on the planet, but if in the house you have the elements before, fortunate! I like the American phrase: Home sweet Home!
In the book of Genesis, we can read the story of the flood that came upon the Earth and the example of Noah, a man who chose the divine offer and, obedience to the Word of God, in the construction of the ark, had the greatest benefit. of his life, he saved his life and his entire family.
"So Noah did according to all that God commanded him." (Genesis 6:22)
Also Genesis 7.5: "And Noah did all, since the Lord had commanded him."
When we are obedient to the word of God, we have the certainty that: there is no righteous forsaken, nor will his descendants beg bread.
Today, we have available for us a new ark, property of God and given to men: JESUS CHRIST. He is our ark, and he offers us all this and much more, it is enough to believe and make him Lord and Savior of our life.
Today I want to dedicate for all of you the following confessions of Faith and beautiful verses of the Bible:
1) SECURITY - This word denotes certainty, trust, firmness. Being safe means free of danger, firm, unbreakable.
Leviticus 25: 18-19 - "Behold my statutes, keep my rights, and set them: So live in their land, the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat to your heart's content, and in it you will live safely"
Psalm 4,8 - "In peace I lie down and sleep, because, Lord, only you make me live in safety".
Our confession in Psalm 91: "I and my family dwell in the hiding place of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Therefore, we say to the Lord: "You are our refuge and our bulwark, our God in whom we trust". This word "bulwark" means: Strength, support or firmness.
2) Fill: It means that it is enough, the ability to produce. Enough is enough or enough, what satisfies.
II Corinthians 3: 4,5 - "And it is through Christ that we have such confidence in God, not that, by ourselves, we are capable of thinking something, as if he were turning away from us, on the contrary, our sufficiency comes from God. "
II Corinthians 9: 8 - "God can make abound in all grace, so that, having always enough, can abound for every good work.
Our profession every day: "The Lord is enough for my life and for my family." "Jesus is our provision, in Him, God has to supply each of our needs."
3) Sanctification - It is the sanctifying act or effect. While sanctifying has the sense of separating, doing sacred, consecrating. The church of our Lord Jesus Christ today, more than ever, needs to seek this consecration, separating what is sacred from what is worldly.
God separated Noah and his family: The Lord said to Noah: Enter the ark, you and all your house, because I recognize that you have been right before me in the midst of this generation. (Genesis 7: 1)
I Thessalonians 4: 3,7 - "For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you turn from fornication, because God has not called us to impurity, but to sanctification."
Hebrews 12:14 - "peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord."
I Peter 1: 14-16 - "As obedient children, you do not shape yourself by conforming the passions that you had before your ignorance, on the contrary, according to the saint who called you, we also become saints in your whole procedure , because it is written: Be holy, because I am holy.
Another confession ours of each day: "I have to sanctify myself every day and to commit myself in a consecration to lead my family in that Way".
4) Salvation 'That word is determined by the act or effect of saving. And saving means to get rid of danger, sickness, misery and death.
Psalm 3: 8 - "The Lord is salvation, and your blessing is on your people."
John 3.16-17 - "For he so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not be lost, but have eternal life, because God sent his Son into the world, not for that he would judge the world, but so that the world might be saved by Him.
We must proclaim: "Jesus Christ is the ark for the salvation of my life and all my family."
