A bit strong the title, right?
I always maintain that what is life or death must be said with good emphasis and clarity, for the simple reason that, when dealing with human beings, we must do like Jesus, the impossible to save them!
Did you know that Satan (the devil, Lucifer) was already a cherub of God? It is true. Many people do not know, but there was a time when he served the Lord, as well as the other angels.
The Bible says that he was anointed and established on the holy mountain (Ezekiel 28.14). Then, you may ask yourself: "Why was it wrong?" It happens that, at some point of his existence, he let iniquity enter his heart, because of that, he became proud, envious, a liar and rebelled against God.
"And you said in your heart: I will go up to heaven, above the stars of God I will exalt my throne, and on the mountain of the congregation I will sit on the north side ... I will ascend to the heights of the clouds; the Most High "(Isaiah 14:13: 14)
Then, to make his domination plan work, the devil decided to convince a group of angels to follow him. As the sacred text narrates, there was a war in heaven and Satan was cast out, along with his angels - who are now demons (Revelation 12.7-9).

Is it not a secret that the devil seeks to impose his kingdom on any establishment be it social, political, moral or religious, or does it seem strange that many suicide attacks are perpetrated in the name of "God"?
Did not Judas kiss the teacher's holy cheek in the name of friendship? Does not the devil enter the Church because from the outside it is impossible to get better results?
I know your works, and your tribulation, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who claim to be Jews, and they are not, but synagogue of Satan.

You may ask yourself: "Why did those angels decide to follow Lucifer?"
Angels, as well as human beings, do not know about all things and can not be everywhere at the same time - a power that only God has.
However, he who knows the word of God, keeping it in his heart, is a man or woman prepared in what the Apostle Paul said:
so that Satan does not gain any advantage over us; Well, we do not ignore his machinations.
2 Corinthians 2:11
Probably, the devil took advantage of that fact (ignorance) and began to spread stories, to speak ill of the Most High, to "make gossip" for the other angels. And they, who before had good eyes for the Lord, now watched him with malice. They allowed their hearts to become dirty.
Despite having been expelled from the Kingdom of Heaven because of that, Satan still wants to establish his kingdom over beings. And the approach he uses to achieve it remains the same: he invents and distorts stories to deceive and corrupt people's hearts and make them stand against God, living in falsehoods.
That is why the Bible commands:
But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be in darkness. So, if the light that is in you is darkness, how many will not be the same darkness?
Matthew 6:23
Therefore dear brothers, take care of your soul and keep alert so as not to fall into the deception of evil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
