Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
You should never be ashamed of the Truth. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Truth.
The Gospel is also the POWER –the dunamis - to save, heal and deliver. It shines like a light and illuminates through the darkness, defeating the work and effort of the enemy and bringing truth, freedom and deliverance wherever it is declared!

The Greek word “dunamis” as earlier used means: power, strength, mighty work, miracle, virtue, might, force, mighty, inherent power, miraculous power. Whenever we preach the truth of the Gospel, mighty power is released to do miracles and wonders.
Mark 16:20 says that when you preach the Gospel, the Lord will work with you and endorse the Word with signs and wonders following.
Yes, the Holy Spirit gives us the power, the ability, the boldness, the confidence to be a witness for Jesus Christ. There is power in the Gospel and also power in you by the Holy Spirit, more than sufficient power to get the job done. When you have the power, you need not be afraid or ashamed to confidently declare it! It’s not by your labors, but by God’s power as you humbly obey and declare. When you boldly preach the Gospel with full confidence, supernatural things begin to transpire, signs and wonders surely follow.

For the Gospel is God's Power:
###1. To set free:
John 8:31-36,
“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, [32] and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” [33] They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” [34] Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. [35] The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. [36] So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
2. To bring salvation:
Romans 1:16,
“…the gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
3. To produce the new birth:
Ephesians 1:13,
“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.”
1 Peter 1:23,
“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.”
4. To purify and sanctify the church:
Ephesians 5:26,
“That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.”
5. To reveal and impart righteousness:
Romans 1:17,
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith.”
6. To generate faith:
Romans 10:17,
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
7. To establish and launch people in the faith:
Romans 16:25-26,
"Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages [26] but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith.
8. To make men heirs and partakers of Christ:
Ephesians 3:6,
“That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the Gospel.”
9. To nourish spiritual life and growth:
1 Peter 2:2,
“As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.”
10. To examine lives and hearts and reveal the hidden things:
Hebrews 4:12-13,
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. [13] And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
11. To impart grace:
Acts 20:24,
“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
12. To impart immortality:
2 Timothy 1:10,
“But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.”
13. To bring peace:
Romans 10:14-15,
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"
14. To give abundance of blessings:
Romans 15:29,
“But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.”
15. To be a powerful and authoritative weapon against darkness and the lies of the enemy:
Ephesians 6:17,
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
I pray that this word I've shared today, will yield positive results in our lives In Jesus Name.
