May the blessing of Jehovah abound in your hearts beloved community. Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is about how to have your heart filled with the blessing of our creator.
Have a heart full of Jehovah's blessing!
"God rewards those who diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6).
What do many people do to receive the blessing of God?
Why should we be happy to receive Jehovah's blessing?
"God bless you!” Often these words are said to newlyweds. Leaders of different religions will bless people, their pets and their homes. Travelers often visit religious buildings in the hope that they will receive blessings from God. Politicians often ask God to bless their nation.
Are such sentences acceptable?
Does God listen to your request?
Who will bless God and why?
Jehovah predicted that in the last days all the nations would have a clean and peaceful people, that in spite of hatred and opposition, the good news of the kingdom of God would be preached throughout the world (Is 2: 2-4, Matthew 24: 14). All those who are among those people want to have the blessing of God, without which we can not achieve anything (Psalm 127: 1).
How to obtain the blessing of God:
Obedient people receive blessings.
What would the Israelites do in submission?
Before entering the Promised Land, Jehovah told Israel that if he heard it, he would bless it and keep it on guard. (Deuteronomy 28: 1, 2). Jehovah's blessing "will come out and make them happy." Obedient humans will certainly receive blessings.
How did God require the obedience of Israel?
Deuteronomy 28: 45-47
45 And all these curses shall come upon you, and they shall persecute you, and overtake you until you perish; because you have not listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes, which he commanded you;
46 And they will be in you for a sign and a wonder and in your descendants forever.
47 Because you have not served Jehovah your God with joy and gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things,
Jehovah does not require self-obedience. Obedience to the heart speaks of a sincere love of God. Such obedience is accompanied by joy, since we are convinced that Jehovah's commandments are not annoying. In addition, God "rewards his great gain" Hebrews 11: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please God; for it is necessary that he who comes to God believes that he is, and that he is a rewarded of those who seek him.
How can faith in Jehovah's promise help the servant of God to act according to the Law?
Consider how the words of the Law in Acts 15: 7, 8
Acts 15: 7
7 And after much discussion, Peter got up and said to them: Men, brothers, you know how it was some time ago that God chose the Gentiles to hear the word of the gospel through my mouth and to believe.
8 And God, who knows the hearts, gave them testimony; giving them the Holy Spirit as well as we do;
Be obedient God knows our heart. Jehovah sees who he freely gives and promises to bless him in all "work and work" (Deuteronomy 15:10). Faith in this promise motivates the servant of God and, in fact, he will receive many blessings (Proverbs 28:20).
How does Hebrews 11: 6 assure us?
As we have seen, we must believe that Jehovah rewards his will. In addition, Hebrews 11: 6 draws attention to another important part, namely, that God rewards his "zealous seeker." In the original language, this phrase is an intense and useful intent. The meaning of these words convinces us that we will receive blessings, since the true God "can not lie" (Titus 1: 2).
For thousands of years, God has repeatedly shown that his promises are completely reliable. His words never failed. Isa 55:11. We can be sure that if we show genuine faith, he will reward us.
How can we receive the blessing of God through the offspring of Abraham?
Jesus Christ became the main representative of the descendants of Abraham. The anointed Christians are the other descendants of the predicted generation. The anointed are commanded to "declare unto them the excellency of his glory, which is gone out of his darkness into his marvelous light" (Galatians 3: 7-9, 14, 16, 26-29, 1 Peter 2: 9).
It is not possible to have a good relationship with Jehovah if we ignore those to whom Jesus has given his property. Without the help of the "faithful and discreet slave", we can see the Word of God at the end and we will not see its practical value either (Matthew 24: 45-47). If we learn from the Scriptures in our lives, we will surely receive the blessings of God.
Doing the will of God is the key
What effort did Jacob use to complete his decision?
Jacob understood that there was a need for much effort to obtain the blessing of God. He did not know how God's promise to Abraham would be fulfilled, but he believed that the descendants of his Father were a great nation.
Why did Jehovah bless Jacob?
Jacob did not seek to enrich his family in a way that provided for him. He was interested in the fulfillment of Jehovah's promise to his ancestors. The most important thing for him was to do Jehovah's will. Jacob did everything he could to obtain God's blessing despite the obstacles. He did not even lose the old age, because Jehovah blessed him (Genesis 32: 24-29).
What should we do to do according to God's will?
Like Jacob, we do not know exactly how Jehovah will fulfill his purpose. Studying the Word of God helps us to make a general vision of the "day of the Lord" (2 Peter 3:10, 17). For example, we do not know exactly when the day of Jehovah will come, but we know that it will come soon. As we read in the Word of God, if we are diligent in these last days, we will save ourselves and our hearers (1 Timothy 4:16) "Beware of yourself and of the doctrine, persist in it, for by doing this, you will save yourself and those who will hear you. "
What can we be sure of?
The end can come at any time. Jehovah will not wait until his people preach to all (Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to the other, for verily I say unto you, that ye shall not pass through all the cities of Israel, before the Son shall come of Man.). God gives us timely instructions on how to become effective preachers. Because of our faith, we demonstrate that we do not keep our efforts in the preaching work and use our skills to the fullest. Do we always preach in a territory where people listen to us? Can we predict where people will listen to us?
1 Corinthians 3: 6
6 I planted, Apollo watered; but growth has been given by God.
We can be sure that he sees our disposition and gives us the best guidance through the Holy Spirit in our preaching work.
Ask for Holy Spirit
Receive blessings. With joy he hears the voice of Jesus: "May the blessing of your Father be the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (John 10:16, Yes, "blessed (by God) will inherit the earth". they shall perish from him "(Psalm 37:22, 29).
