Do you know that everything in life will come to an end one day?

People from all works of life ask thought provoking questions about life and it meaning. Many scholars and philosophers have sought to find the essense of man's pursuits in life, his pursuit of love, wealth, fame, morality, pleasure, peace, happiness and others. What they have all discovered is that whatever a man possesses or accomplishes ceases to exist the day he dies. An accomplished athlete was once asked what he wished he knew before starting out as an athlete. His response was I wished someone had told me that when you reach the top, there is nothing there which simply means being famous or a celebrity is nothing but vanity.
This echoes what the wise preacher said in (ecclesiastes 1:14,17, 2:17.)
There is emptiness in man than nothing but God can fill. This is the reason he is never satisfied with whatever he has accomplished. He labours rigorously every day to have or accomplish more just to fill that void, but the truth is, no level of accomplishment, attainment, or amount of possession can fill the void.
Man can only have perfect, supreme, lasting happiness and fulfilment on the other side of eternity; that is, his next life when the present life terminates. Yes, the human life goes beyond mortal existence. When life on earth is over, man goeth to his long hom. eccl;12;5, where he will live forever because he was created an immortal soul. Howbeit, he will spend eternity in heaven or hell. Heaven is cheerbliss and only those who repent of their sins and surrender their lives to Jesus will live there. They are the ones who will have true, complete happiness. The rest of humanity will be danmed in hell, a place of torment.

Life on this earth is just a dress rehearsal for the life to come: an endless life in heaven or hell. The question is, how is your rehearsal going? Are you preparing for eternal bliss or eternal damnation? Friends, no one lives forever here. Those who lived yesterday are no longer around today, they have become history. You too will go that way one day, whatever or whoever you are, and that day will come sooner than you expected, for your life is like, vapour, that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away. Are you ready for the great beyond? When life is over, your family, friends, foes, fears and fortunes will all fade into insignificant. When life is over,all your tears, trophies, talents and treasures will mean nothing. when life is over, only one thing ill matter, the life you lived while you were alive, did you live to please God, did you live a righteouslife or riotous ? When life is over, you will live with GOD in eternal bliss if you are pure in heart, but weep and gnash your teeth forever in hell if you tainted withn sin. The way you live your life now determines where you will spend your next life in heaven or hell.
Be wise! Dont live your life as if you are in control of it or as if you will never die. Don't seek instant gratification as if there is no tomorrow. Don't work labourously as if that is what life is all about. Stop striving for nothing. Dont thread the path of those who lived for the moment until they ultimately ran out of moment.
If you are still living sin, is time to escape the judgement looming over you and prepare for eternal bliss. go to god in prayer and acknowledge you are a sinner confess all your sins to him, ask for his forgiveness, and repent of your sinful life style. Accept Jesus as your saviour and lord and remain faithful to HIM until you finaly bid this life goodbye.
