THE FAITH OF THE THREE MEN

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon did not love God. The worship a made image by Man which is know as an idol. One day he had his men made a big golden image (idols) and the image is as tall as a house. It was build in an open place so it could be seen from a long ahead distance.

The king made it compulsory for all the people in the city to worship this golden image design by man.
The king sent out word to all the people to gather before the golden image. The Kind declare rules on hoe they should worship the image. When they heard the sound of a music, they were to fall down and worship the idol. Every one obeyed the King because if they don’t, they knew they will be killed. The king said if the man dared not to fall down before this idol, he would be thrown into the furnace of the flaming fire.

The people in the city knew that the king will do just what he had said if disobeyed. So when the music began, the people bowed for the idol. But there were three brave men that refuse to bow before the idol.
The names of these brave men are Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They refuse to fall down and worship this design image because they already have the almighty God as their father. They knew that God the father is the God of gods. They believed in the true God. They knew that God word says “thou shalt not have no other gods before me.”
That means that God wants all Christian boys and girls and also men and women to put him first. God is a jealous God that is why he said shalt not worship any other God before me. He want us to love him more than anything else in the world.

When the King Nebuchadnezzar heard that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not bow to the golden idol he had made, he was very, very angry. He had the men brought before him.
The king ask if it is true they refuse to worship the idol, he roared that you did not bow down before my golden idol.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego bravery face the King and said yes “it is true”. They said they will not bow before any golden image. The king other they should be thrown into the fire. they reply that Even if our God does not have save us from the fire, they will still not worship the idol.
The king became very angry that he commanded the guard to increase the furnace seven times hotter than ever before. The fire was so hot even when the soldier came near to throw the men into the fire, the roaring flames burnt them to death.

When the king looked into the fire furnace, he was very surprise. He asked, did we not throw three men into the fire? But I can see four men inside the fire walking about unhurt. and the fourth man is like the son of God.

As you can see, Jesus came to be with them when they needed him.
Jesus will always be there for us if only we obey and follow his commandment.
The three Hebrew men trust in the Lord and also they refuse to serve the golden idol because they knew that it is wrong before God. they obeyed God till death.but never died because God came and fellowship with them inside the fire.
There are sometimes in life that you think your problem is killing you but you never knew that, that same problem can be the healing of another.
The king because of what he saw, he gave his life to Christ.
