Genesis 12:1-3
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
God usually has a greater plan and purpose for our needs and desires. So, as we ponder how our needs will be met, remember " that God has already outlined how those needs will be met in line with His plan and purpose for our lives. It was not just because the lsraelites wanted to be delivered from Egypt that God sent Moses to deliver them. The great deliverance they experienced in Exodus 12 had already been planned and promised by God to Abraham many years before,
In Gen.15:13-14, It was a part of God's divine plan to fulfill the promise he had made to Abraham. Hannah simply wanted to give birth to a child but God wanted to use the answer to her prayer to give lsrael one of the greatest prophets they would ever have.
In Jeremiah 29:11,
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for well-being, and not for calamity, in order to give you a future and a hope.
Your Heavenly Father will not just meet your need or desire, He will use the answer to your prayer to advance His will and purpose for your life. Many lives are going to be touched and blessed because of your testimony and God‘s purpose for your life will be further advanced. Abraham himself did not know that when God called him and promised to make him a great nation, part of that promise was that he would have children. That was why he expressed worry, as revealed in our second text. May God open your eyes to see that your needs and desires have already been provided for in His plan for your life Nothing can stop God's great plan and purpose for your life. God's mighty power will bring his plan and purpose for your life to pass.
