Grace is usually described as some form of unmerited favor bestowed on us by God.
This is what the bible tells us about grace;
Romans 5:2
"through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[a] boast in the hope of the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 15:10
" But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me"
Galatians 6:18
" The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen."
Ephesians 1:2
"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
Philippians 4:23
" The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit."

Grace came through Jesus Christ and is Jesus Christ Himself:
Galatians
" Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."
Thessalonians 1:12
" so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ways to Receive Grace
*Through God’s love and mercy and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit:
1 John 4:8
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
1 Timothy 1:13
"Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief."
Titus 3:5
"he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,"

By humbling ourselves before God:
1 Peter 5:5
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”By believing in the Lord Jesus Christ
Romans 5:2
" through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[a] boast in the hope of the glory of God."
- By loving the Lord Jesus:
Ephesians 6:24
"Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love."
- Through sufferings and trials arranged for us by God:
2 Corinthians 12:9
" But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."
Romans 5:3
"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;"
The Results of Receiving Grace
- We are justified by God:
Romans 3:24
" and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
- We are saved by grace:
Ephesians 2:8
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God"
- We have peace
Romans 1:7
" To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ."
- We reign in God’s divine life over all negative things:
Romans 5:17
"For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!"
Grace is God's gift to man despite our short comings, and these are many more are the benefits of grace!
