There are times when everything seems not working out well as we plan.
There are times when all roads seems blocked.
There are times when all prayers seem not getting required answers.
There are times when we want to give up trying due to situations we are surrounded with.
We just don't have to stop or give up but rather lift up our eyes unto the hill from where our help cometh from which the Lord that is powerful to turn all things around for our good.
Using Israelite as a case study.
So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole,and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone,when he looked at the bronze serpent he lived.
Number 21:9
After the Israelites left Egypt, enroute the promised land,right in the desert,the people offended God by murmuring against Him.
They lost their trust in Him,denigrated and assaulted His character, and this angered God.
Anytime we slip from faith and trust to doubt and distrust, we get on God's nerves.
He sent a venomous serpent after them,but instructed Moses to make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole, such that whoever looked on it lived.
Bronze is symptomatic of judgement; whenever there is judgement there is mercy.
God wants us to trust Him in every aspects of our lives for sustainance, provisions, and preservation.
The serpent on a pole then is the symbol of Jesus Christ on the cross today, if only you'll look unto the Saviour and keep your focus on Him,all will be well.
