**Article 2
**of the CRBV, establishes that Venezuela is constituted in a democratic and social State
of law and justice and establishes as higher values in the legal system and its performance, life,
freedom, equality, solidarity, democracy, social responsibility and in general the preeminence of human rights, and ethics and political pluralism.
