hello steemians community, today I will be talking on a powerful topic which has to do with our journey with Christ. I pray that you will be blessed by it (amen)
Vessels of Honour refer to men and women God has chosen to honour to bring glory to His Name. The people God chooses are vessels that have been appointed to carry and reveal the ways and wisdom of God; to manifest His power and glory in their time.
Word for today : Christians should be vessels of honor useful for the Lord's service
2Timothy 2:20-22
AMP:20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use]. 21 So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work. 22 Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed); [and aim at and pursue] faith, love, [and] peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all [Christians], who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
In these verses the Apostle Paul tells us that there are vessels of honor and some for dishonor.
God wants us to be vessels of honor sanctified and useful to the Master (Jesus) prepared for every good work.
We are living in an amazing time. It is a time of great spiritual light and at the same time great spiritual darkness.
Christians today have more revelation of God's Word than any other generation that has ever lived, yet the world around us grows more evil every day.
How are we, as believers, to live in the midst of all this evil? God tells us to abstain from even the very appearance of evil - in whatever form or whatever kind it is.
unto sanctification (holiness), Rom. 6:19-22 .
4. Live in holiness and honor, 1 Ths. 4:1-8 ( 1 Cor. 6:19 ).
III. THE ONE WHO IS USEFUL FOR THE MASTER , 2:21 .
Shovel with a broken handle is not very useful (helpful). We all have talents: Whether we develop them to become “useful for the Master” is another matter (and up to us),
We are Christ’s only workers today; we must live up to our responsibilities to be useful to the Master.
IV. THE ONE WHO IS PREPARED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK , 2:21 .

b. Through God’s grace, 2 Cor. 9:8-9 ( 1 Cor. 15:10 ).
c. Over time (Seasoned, cf. skillet); 2 Tim. 4:11 .

PATH TO BECOMING A VESSEL OF HONOUR
. Many people are talking about salvation, which has positioned us to be children of God but the fact that you have received salvation does not make you a vessel of honour.
As seen in Zechariah 3:6-7, to be a vessel of honour, you must follow God's ways and serve Him. God was saying to Joshua, the high priest that there is a place of honour where only a few people in their generation can attain. The question you need to ask yourself is: why can't I be part of these few people that will walk in the place of honour before God?
In conclusion, you were not created to be a vessel of destruction and dishonor, but a very valuable golden vessel of honor!!
Ephesians 2:10 - KJV:For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The choice is yours!!
Get into the Word of God and study it, memorize it, meditate on it and confess it over your life.
It will set you free and will live a life pleasing of God!
Hebrew 11:6.
KJV:But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God bless you abundantly
